Valerie McMillan
Dr.
Dr. McMillan is a private practice prosthodontist with a passion for dentures. Once called the “Denture Queen” by her prosthodontics co-residents, the name stuck, and her love for removable prosthodontics grew with time. Dr. McMillan presents a systematic approach to digital denture treatment which she has been refining since she switched to all-digital denture fabrication in 2015.
Dr. McMillan’s practice is located in Dayton, Ohio, her hometown. She owns a practice limited to prosthodontics. Since 2014 Dr. McMillan has fabricated free dentures for patients in her community during National Prosthdontics Awareness Week (NPAW). Many volunteer lab technicians, students, and prosthodontists helped prepare up to 20 dentures in a single week. Now that dentures are made digitally her focus has turned to education during the awareness week.

Also in residency, he completed his masters thesis by comparing the accuracy of CAD/CAM surgical guides to traditional guides. Over the years, he has had experience with five different implant planning programs.
