You will discover an innovative technique that allows sinus elevation working just on the native bone - the prerequisite being the regeneration of the autologous bone - without any sort of biomaterial or graft material. In this 4th ReLIVE Surgery session, Prof. Lundgren and Dr. Ciabattoni firstly discuss about the different flap philosophy when working in the posterior area. Then, a complication occurs during the surgical treatment and they explain how to safely manage an anterior bleeding.

Participants will see Prof. Lundgren tackle a three adjacent implant placement at the level of 1.4, 1.5 and 1.6 elements. The surgery is tricky because of the severe bone defect that affects the whole area but he succeeds thanks to Graftless Sinus Floor Elevation technique.

In this last ReLIVE surgery, Prof. Lundgren shows to participants how to place two implants in an area (2.6 and 2.7) in which the residual vertical bone height is minimal. So, the treatment protocol chosen is GSFE in order to regenerate bone, but first a complication has to be dealt with: Prof. Lundgren shows how to reach a good retraction of an excess before designing the flap.

In this third ReLIVE Surgery, Prof. Lundgren shows a standard lateral sinus elevation in order to perform enough bone augmentation to support 3 adjacent implants placement. But, while opening the bone window, Prof. Lundgren spotts out a membrane perforation and he explains how to deal with this situation.
